Tom Avis
I'm a sound designer based in the UK with 15 years of experience in game audio. I've worked on a wide range of projects from small indie games to AAA, and my passion lies in both creative sound design and audio systems. My current position is senior sound designer at Larian Studios.


Nightingale is a survival crafting game set in an alternate history Victorian era where players explore new worlds via a network of portals.
I worked on the game between 2020-2024, and during that time I provided sound design for creatures, weapons, magic, and a dynamic ambience and weather system.
